Hi, can anyone tell me where and what the white slash effect is for the blacksmith animation? And the timing? - edit: I found it, but the effects are not cut up into the same size as the character sheets :( I would have put it in the same sprite sheet as the hammer tool animations. or in the same spot and split up into the same number of slides for easy timing
Yeah, I didn't think the simple white slashes had enough polish to act as official effects, so they're just kind of included as optional placeholders. I've put together a collection of separate special effects packs that work well with the Mana Seed art: https://itch.io/c/2810741/recommended-special-effects
It's all these images on the right? Just scroll down (โฌ) with your mouse wheel while looking at the page, and then click the left (โฌ ) mouse button on the ones you want to see. There are many to consider before buying.
Hello, I have a question. I'm using the 'Character_Body_Asset' Sprite to move and play IDLE status. What weapon asset should I use to show you holding a weapon with these e-set? I'm not sure.
If this is move/idle during combat, there are graphical guides for each weapon type included. If this is move/idle outside of combat, then there's no support for that, and you'll need to make up your own mind on which weapon sprites to use and where to put them.
Oh, sorry, I think I made you misunderstand my English because I'm not good at it. What I meant was what should I use to use an image with a weapon on the back like the screenshot below. I'm not sure what it is even though I looked at the guide and looked it up :(
As I said: holding a weapon outside of combat is not a supported animation. That means you'll need to choose and place the weapon sprites yourself. You can copy/paste the weapons into a new page 1 layer, or draw from the weapon sprite source file in-engine at runtime. But I can't help you with either of these options, I am not a gamedev instructor. If you want to do this thing, you will need to flex your brain and make it happen on your own. Good luck!
Hi, I'm looking to buy an asset and implement a 2D RPG game, what asset do you recommend to use more for combat compared to the characters on the link https://seliel-the-shaper.itch.io/farmer-base ? And which one of these sets, such as clothes, hair, and weapons, do you have more in the link attached to this set?
I'm not good at English, so I don't know if I understand it properly
The Character Base has more specific combat animations and included weapon sprites, but it does not have a great variety of outfits. If you want to use it, you should prepare to draw your own clothing/hair to make a unique character.
The Farmer Sprite System has a LOT of outfits and hairstyles, but it has fewer combat animations. It's primarily designed for cozy farming-style games.
You can see examples of combat animations, and all the included outfits/hairstyles in the screenshots for both assets.
HiSeliel, Ihopeyouarewell.I was wondering how you handle things that aren't video games, like series and movies.I am a small content creator.I'm planning to make a series on YouTube in a pixel art style. Is that Okay? Thanks in advance.
Hey Seliel. First of all, Great work! I love your style.
I am working on my character, but I simply cannot find the character's basic animations for Spears! I am looking for the "Idle, walk, run, jump, etc" file, but unfortunately, I cannot find it :/ I noticed that they are present in the GIF example, but I cannot find the files. (obs: I do have the corresponding spear animation file, but what I need is the actual character.)
Hi there ๐๐ If you look in the spear combat zip, you'll find a folder called "guides". There are images there that show you which pages and frames are used for the in-combat idle and move (it's kind of a slow shuffle). If you want your character to hold the spear outside of combat for things like running and jumping, you'll need to use the alternate sheets for page 1: the sheet called "char_a_p1B". You can find those files in the "optional files (unsupported)" folder. But as you might have guessed, I do not support these alternates, so if you want to use them, you'll need to take it from here on your own. Good luck!

cool thanks. Quick question is the clothing like the foresters tunic have combat animations also?
Find the "OUTFITS & HAIRSTYLES" header on this page for more info on which outfits have combat compatibility, and which don't.
Hello, I wanted to thank you for these great sprites and animations. I have used the character for my game jam game: https://guillaumepayet.itch.io/tiny-world-gardening
Very cool! ๐ I've added it to the list:

That's great! I've added it to the collection ๐๐

Hi, does the asset contains the farming animations? cause i dont see them listed on the files that the asset contains, but they are displayed here
Yes, the farming animations are part of the core files. Mostly page 2, as it says in the outline.
How can I see the full screenshots of the two assets? I don't know what to watch ..๐ฅ

I think it would be nice if there were various sets related to characters such as clothes, weapons, and hair

Hi there ๐
I have already covered this in my user license. You would need to purchase the asset again for each video you produce.
