A downloadable asset pack

Buy Now$19.99 USD or more

This asset contains 3 adorable farm animals for your RPG, adventure game, or farming sim, fully animated in 4 directions (except for the baby chick), and each with a ton of different versions. You can see animation samples on this page, but here's a full breakdown of what you get:

Chicken

  • 2 idle frame alternates
  • 4-frame walking animation
  • 3-frame pecking animation

Baby Chick (new in v3.0!)

  • 1 idle frame
  • 2-frame move (hop hop)
  • 2-frame "cheep cheep"
  • 8 frames of egg-hatching goodness
  • Alternate eggshell-stuck-on-head variant

Cow

  • 2 idle frame alternates
  • 4-frame walking animation
  • 2-frame grazing animation
  • 3-frame chewing animation

Pig

  • 2 idle frame alternates
  • 4-frame walking animation
  • 2-frame eating/sniffing animation

Each animal takes up no more than 32x32 pixels, and is spaced on a sprite sheet in an 8x8 grid of sliceable 64x64 pixel cells.

Note: I am planning to add sleeping animations, and a duck, in a future update. A separate asset will include other animals (goat, sheep, goose, turkey). Unfortunately, I can't predict when I might have time to execute those plans.

I wanted a sheep as well in my game so I created one myself kinda similar to your work and put it on my page for free if that's fine with you.

Looks good ๐Ÿ‘ but I would prefer if you didn't use my tileset in the product image for your asset.

no problem I can change it, is it okay if you add it here

Sorry, I can't do that. I know you tried to match my style, but there's nothing about it that requires this asset. I only add embeds for officially endorsed add-ons.

Thanks anyway I just wanted to let you know!

Keep up the good work! ๐Ÿ‘

Hey there. i just bought your animal pack and you said you would be adding more animals and seeing that it has been quite a while since this pack has been updated im wondering if you have some kind of timeline for the new ones :)

preferably the sheep and goat first would be awesome. and do you plan on adding something like deer / wolf / boar (with attack animations for wolf and boar etc maybe)? id buy them as separate pack instantly.

the animations are very nice by the way :)

Hey there, I'm glad you like it :)

I would really like to do those eventually (yes, all of that stuff is in my sights), but when I did a patron poll to see what they wanted me to work on, it was pretty low on the list. The farm animals will probably get another chance in a few months, but definitely no creatures before then.

Thanks for the reply. Ill be waiting a bit longer then. i got enough to get going and flesh out all the mechanics. i will add in the updates as soon as they arrive :)

Very well and cute designed animals. A sleep animation would be great. Could you also please add a license info? I dont know whether I can use your asset for commercial reasons as well.

Hey there! You can find a link to the commercial license on the product page. Look for "Mana Seed User License" after the product description. To briefly satiate your curiosity, though: yes, you can use it for commercial projects.

I am definitely planning an update to this asset in the future. There are a few more animals I want to add, along with some more animations and color swaps. A sleeping animation is a good idea, thanks for suggestion. If you own this when the time comes, you'll get that eventual update for free ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

Thanks for the info! Definitely good work :) Happy to receive future updates.
