Pixel Art Creature Sprite - Malevolent Mimic

This is a simple animated mimic chest for an RPG (action or turn-based combat) or adventure game. The mimic is around 32 pixels high but is not limited to that space. Each frame is centered in a 64x64 pixel cell on the sprite sheet. Each sheet is 256x256 in total and comes in SEVEN unique color variants. It comes with the following animations:

• 4-frame hopping idle/move cycle
• 2-frame attack
• 1-frame "got hit"

This asset also includes a 4-frame peeking eye animation if you want to provide observant players with a hint that they're facing a mimic. Or you can just use the non-mimic chest variant (open and closed frames) for regular treasures.

Additionally, you can choose from four different visual variants (perhaps as higher-level monsters):

• One-eyed mimic (basic version)
• Two-horned mimic
• Multi-eyed mimic
• Horned and multi-eyed mimic

But wait, there's more! I've also included a 48x48 portrait for character dialogue, and a full sprite image for bestiary listings in both 64x64 and 128x128, each in all 7 color swaps. These images are based on high-res art from Kendall Hale (go check him out).

New in version 2.0: A Secret of Mana-inspired 6-frame explosion animation and assorted bone particle sprites for use when your monster dies.
